Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on 17 September 2026, and with it the first confirmed list of GTA 6 music artists. The album carries 34 original tracks, arrives on 19 November alongside the game, and was made in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Six singles are already out. Everything below comes from Rockstar’s own announcement rather than from the leaks and wishlists that have circulated for the past two years.

Every Confirmed GTA 6 Music Artist

Thirteen artists and producers are named on the six singles released so far:

  • Travis Scott
  • Future
  • Metro Boomin
  • Yung Lean
  • Morgan Wallen
  • Rauw Alejandro
  • PinkPantheress
  • Fred again..
  • Keith Richards
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, the Argentine duo
  • Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, producing rather than performing
  • Etienne de Crecy, the French house producer

That is a deliberately awkward list to summarise, which is the point. A Rolling Stones guitarist, a country number one, a Puerto Rican reggaeton star and two French house veterans do not normally share a tracklist. Rockstar describes the roster as genre defying and the spread of the first six songs backs that up.

The First Six Singles

  • Yung Lean: “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin
  • Travis Scott: “RHYNO”, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crecy: “Sexy Magic”
  • Morgan Wallen: “Last Thing You Need”
  • Rauw Alejandro: “Macacoa 2000”
  • Keith Richards: “Bright Lights, Big City”

All six are on the major streaming services now. The remaining 28 tracks stay unannounced until launch, so the artist list above will grow.

What the Album Costs

Pre-orders are open at the official album store. Three formats are exclusive to that store: a liquid filled limited edition vinyl, a splatter edition vinyl, and a CD jewel case.

  • Limited edition vinyl: $124.98
  • Standard vinyl: $49.98
  • CD: $19.98

Separate vinyl colourways with their own artwork are going to Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, Urban Outfitters, Blood Records and independent record shops. If you want the album for listening rather than collecting, the streaming pre-save is free, and a decent pair of over-ear headphones will do more for it than any pressing.

How the Reveal Happened

Two days before the announcement, on 15 September, nine of the artists posted pieces of Grand Theft Auto VI artwork to their own accounts within hours of each other. Travis Scott shared a dancer’s shoe, PinkPantheress and Fred again.. both posted a yacht, and Keith Richards posted an iguana. None of them explained it.

The coordination was obvious enough that it read as a Rockstar campaign rather than coincidence, and the newswire post two days later confirmed it.

The Songs in the GTA 6 Trailers

The album is separate from the licensed music Rockstar has used in its marketing. These tracks appeared in the trailers and promotional footage:

  • Tom Petty: “Love Is a Long Road” (1989), the Trailer 1 song
  • The Pointer Sisters: “Hot Together” (1986), the Trailer 2 song
  • Jay Ferguson: “Thunder Island” (1977)
  • Wang Chung: “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” (1986)
  • Tammy Wynette: “Talkin’ to Myself Again”
  • Zenglen: “Child Support” (2004)

Rockstar has not said whether any of these will be in the finished game. Trailer music and radio playlists are licensed separately, and past GTA games have used songs in marketing that never made it to a station. If the 1980s end of that list is your thing, several of them also turn up on our list of the top 100 karaoke songs.

Radio Stations Are Still Unannounced

No GTA 6 radio station has been officially confirmed. Rockstar closed its announcement by saying more details are coming on the dynamic score and what it called the next evolution of in-game radio, which is as much as anyone has.

Fan sightings, including a V-Rock shirt worn by Jason in promotional art, are guesses rather than confirmations. Treat any full station list you see before launch as speculation.
