Prospecting! is a calm loop of dig, pan and sell. You scoop dirt into a pan, swirl it in the river until gold and gems show through, and spend the profit on gear that pulls more out of every pan in tougher areas.
Two things decide how fast you progress: money for upgrades and luck on the rare finds. Prospecting codes pay Cash, Meteor Shards and 2x Luck, and this page lists every code that currently works.
All Working Prospecting Codes
- delay: 250 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 3 hours
- oneyear: $50,000, 400 Meteor Shards, 2x Luck and a 1.5x Sell Boost for 2 hours
- rebuild: $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 1 hour
- starfall: $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 1 hour
- stuff: Cash, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 30 minutes
The boosts have different lengths, so save the long ones for a long session.
Expired Prospecting Codes

All of these have been disabled. Event codes such as the holiday ones were replaced by newer codes after a few weeks.
Where to Enter Prospecting Codes
- Launch Prospecting! on Roblox and complete the tutorial.
- Click Settings, the gear at the top of the screen.
- Enter the code in the box at the top of the Settings window.
- Click Claim. Cash and Meteor Shards are added immediately.
Prospecting codes are all lower case. Copy each one exactly, without spaces, since a single wrong character makes a working code fail.
Meteor Shards, Luck and Sell Boosts Explained
Meteor Shards are hard to come by. Panning drops them only occasionally, Meteor Showers and quests add a few more, and they pay for extra ring slots, up to four, and the Shard Merchant.
Luck boosts raise your chance of rare minerals for as long as they run, and a Sell Boost increases the price of everything you sell. Use them in the best area you can reach.
What Is Prospecting!?
Prospecting! is a gold-panning game published by Prospecting!. Since May 2025 it has recorded 270.1 million visits and 487.3 thousand favorites, it runs 20 players to a server, and it holds about 6 thousand concurrent.
Players work rivers, caves and old mines, upgrade pans and shovels, and run sluices that keep earning offline. Last developer update: 17 October 2026.
Where to Find New Prospecting Codes
Codes are posted in the Prospecting Discord server, usually with the patch notes for an update.
Delays, rebuilds and milestones have each brought a code before, so the day of a patch or an apology from the team is the time to look.

How many Prospecting codes are working right now?
The working list at the top of this page is current. Codes rotate with major updates, so older ones are retired as new ones arrive.
Why can I not enter a Prospecting code?
Finish the tutorial first. The code box in Settings accepts codes only after the opening steps are done.
What are Meteor Shards for?
Extra ring slots and the Shard Merchant. Shards drop rarely while panning, so codes are one of the easiest ways to collect them.
Are Prospecting codes lower case?
Yes. Every current code is lower case, and typing it exactly as shown is the surest way to make it redeem.
