Everything in Retro Tower Defense is a reference to Roblox before 2016. Noobs are the enemy, Crossroads and Doomspire are the maps, the towers are the famous accounts of that era, and the money is Tix, the free currency the platform shut down that year.
Tix places towers between waves, and summons turn it into skins for c00lkidd, 1x1x1x1 and the rest. Retro Tower Defense codes pay Tix, and this page lists every code that currently works.
All Working Retro Tower Defense Codes
- FREETIX: 100 Tix
- NEW: 100 Tix
- V3RT: 100 Tix and a little EXP
- RETRO: 50 Tix
- TELAMON: 50 Tix
- DUSEKKAR: 50 Tix
- 1X1X1X1: 50 Tix
- BLOXXER: 50 Tix
- JOHNDOE: 50 Tix
- GULLIBLE: 1 Revive
The developer prints three of these in the game description, which makes them the surest claims; the remainder are the permanent set named after classic accounts.
Expired Retro Tower Defense Codes
200FAVS, 200LIKES, 30KVISITS, 35KVISITS, 4MIL, 500LIKES, 50KVISITS, c00l, EASTER, KAWAII, MARCH, MONEYZ, MOSSY, NINJA, RTDX, TRADING, TRAFFIC, YORICK
Holiday and update codes are the casualties. Each was retired when its event closed, while the account-name set has survived every update since launch.

How to Redeem Retro Tower Defense Codes
- Launch Retro Tower Defense and let the lobby load.
- Press Inventory on the left side of the screen.
- Find the blue gift icon beside the red close button at the top of the Owned Towers window and press it.
- Enter a code in the Enter code here field.
- Press the blue Redeem button and watch the Tix figure in the corner tick up.
There is no Codes button on the main screen. The box is a gift icon inside the Inventory window, and that is the step most people miss.
Tix, Towers and the One Revive
Tix is what you spend between waves on towers, so the list as a whole buys an easier opening rather than anything rare.
The single consumable on the list is a Revive, which restores a lost run. Keep it for Hard or Endless, where a wipe costs the most time.
What Is Retro Tower Defense?
Retro Tower Defense is a tower defense game published by Plaything Games on Roblox. Since May 2025 it has recorded 178.6 million visits and 169.7 thousand favorites, runs 30 players to a server, and holds about 894 concurrent.
Modes run from Casual through Normal and Hard to Endless, towers can be traded between players, and the latest patch added map mastery achievements and a weekly challenge. Last developer update: 14 October 2026.

Where to Find New Retro Tower Defense Codes
The permanent codes sit in the game description on Roblox, and the seasonal ones are announced in the game announcements channel of the Retro TD Community Discord server.
The Roblox community page repeats the patch notes, and the like button on the game page is worth pressing because several retired codes were like milestones.
For more of the same, see our Anime Vanguards codes and Build and Kill Zombies codes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Retro Tower Defense codes are working right now?
The working list at the top of this page is current. The permanent set has not changed since launch, and the moving part is whichever seasonal code the current event has added.
Which Retro Tower Defense codes does the developer publish?
The ones at the foot of the game description on Roblox. Try those first, because they come straight from the studio and are the last to be retired.
Do Retro Tower Defense codes expire?
The seasonal ones do, when their event ends. The codes named after classic Roblox accounts have stayed live since the game launched in May 2025.
Are Retro Tower Defense codes case sensitive?
Yes. The live codes are capitals, and one retired code was deliberately lower case, so copy each one exactly as the list prints it.
